It is fall. And fall means one very important thing…FOOTBALL. and well soup leaves changing, holidays, pumpkin patches. GOSH, I LOVE FALL.

But today is about Football and Football means dips! And today I have a SUPER simple guacamole recipe that is easily customizable that you are guaranteed to LOVE LOVE LOVE. It is fresh and quick, and delicious.

I love this recipe because you can make as a little or as much as you want. My hubs is anti-guacamole, he is more of a BBQ buffalo chicken dip (recipe coming soon) kinda guy. I, however, LOVE LOVE LOVE my guac. And this recipe is perfect because a can make a small personal bowl just for me.

What you need: A super ripe avocado. You will know it is ripe because it will be dark, almost black and soft. Some veggies to throw in the mix. I used red onion and jalapeno for this batch, but sometimes I toss in a roma tomato.

Seasoning this is super simple, just grab some salt, pepper, and garlic powder! Mix all that goodness together. Grab a lime (or some lime juice) and squeeze it in there! You’re gonna love this.

Making it is just as simple as the ingredient list. Cut that avocado in half, get rid of the seed and spoon the good stuff out into your bowl. Smash it up with the back side of a fork.

Dice up the veggies, season to taste with salt, pepper, garlic, and lime to taste. Mix it all together and ENJOY! That is easy.



Serving size is enough for one person.

1 avocado
1 lime juiced
1/2 roma tomato (optional)
1 seeded jalapeno (optional)
Handful of diced onion (optional)
Seasoning to taste!
Chips to dip and enjoy.


Scrape the avocado into a bowl, squeeze the juice in mix and mash to your liking. Season to taste! Enjoy!!
