After I had my son, I spent the first month at home with him oohing and awing over his every coo. I could literally lay in bed with that boy and just stare at him all day.

And to be honest that is what I did. I wouldn’t trade that time with him for anything. They are my most cherished moments.

When I first got pregnant with him I had every intention of heading back to work after taking a maternity leave. I had it all planned out, I would have my sweet boy, and would hang out at home with him for the first three months of his life; then I would head back to work, I have always worked, that is all I knew. That was the plan until the announcement came. The company that I worked for was shutting their doors. I along with 1,000 other employees would be laid off within the year.

Naturally, I was freaking out. I was going to have a baby, my husband and I had just bought a new house…and I was going to be jobless. What the heck were we gonna do?

My due date was March 18, 2017. My lay off date was March 13, 2017.
How is that for irony?

After being at home with my son for three months drawing unemployment, I decided it was time to search for other money making endeavors. I applied for multiple jobs, but the thought of leaving him at a daycare all day long broke my heart. For all you working mamas out there, I don’t know how you do it. So I started my search for work at home positions, but over and over again I came up empty handed.

Then naturally, like all of us stay at home moms do. I turned to Pinterest. I was determined to find a side hustle that would bring in some sort of income for my family.

I read all about how you can make so much money from Swag Bucks, and on all those other survey sites. So I spent hours of my day clicking through surveys that paid me 10 cents. After I had already spent 30 minutes just trying to find a survey I was qualified for. I joined UpWork in hopes to find some freelance work of any sort. If the side hustle was mentioned anywhere on the internet I had tried it. And after a month of that, I ended up with about 4 dollars in survey profits and 300 swag bucks.

How in the world was I going to start making money from home?

And then, one day I came across a post about how to make money on Pinterest without having a blog.

work from home

Surely, this was too good to be true. I had read multiple posts with titles like this and they all lead back to blogging somehow. This one was different though, it was honest, you didn’t need a blog at all.

Immediately, I was hooked. I had to learn everything I could about this idea.

I had read all about affiliate marketing, but was misinformed by the idea that you had to have a blog to do so.

I reached out to Christina, the creator of this wonderful side hustle plan and she informed me of the courses she offered. I signed up, and I worked that course night and day. And after just one month of following her steps, I had made $150. I could not believe it.

Christina’s pinning for profit program is bullet proof in my opinion. If you work the course exactly as she describes then there is no way you will fail. She has this sytem down to a science. Her coursework is detailed, she explains everything very thoroughly and offers videos for support. Not to mention, I can’t think of a time I emailed her with questions and did not get a response. She truly works for her students, and her courses are worth every penny.

If you want to make money from home, and do not have the time or resources to start a blog. Then this is the answer you need. This is the only side hustle worth your time, and the only one I will ever recommend.

I encourage all of you to head on over to her site and see what I am talking about.

You will not regret it!
